Never been climbing?
We link you to an indoor climbing centre that tests the ability of
beginners and top climbers alike. You will not find a higher, more
impressive place to climb in the UK, and probably Europe!
Once you’ve got over the fact that you’re in an incredible climbing
environment and all your faculties are in place, the experience begins.
The climbing wall has an area of 900m˛, with future plans taking it up
to over 2,500m˛! The centre has a competition wall that overhangs by a
massive 8m, with two adjacent 6m overhangs to test the stamina of the
most proficient of climbers. For beginners, we have taster sessions
which will leave you wanting more. For the brave-hearted, we will let
you try it blind folded!
Your experience includes half a day rock climbing with qualified
instructors, 2 nights accommodation, breakfast, transfers to the
climbing centre and enough time out for you to enjoy the local
attractions of South Shields.
The cost is dependant upon the size of your group and inclusive of all
of the above.
